QUT joins AeRO

The Australasian eResearch Organisations (AeRO) is delighted to announce QUT’s (Queensland University of Technology) Office of eResearch has joined AeRO as a Full Member.

QUT’s Office of eResearch in partnership with researchers and the ultimate end-users develop technological solutions that solve real-world problems. The eResearch Office works to understand the research question, bring clarity to the technical and socio-technical challenges and apply QUT’s understanding of leading-edge technology to develop bespoke solutions that meet the needs of QUT’s stakeholders.

AeRO membership further exemplifies QUT’s leading role and strategic commitment to Australian eResearch. Professor Matthew Bellgard, Director of eResearch, confirmed “QUT has a strong history of collaboration and views AeRO as an important emerging collaborative partner for eResearch activities within the Australasian research community . AeRO will help deliver additional opportunities to highlight and extend our research collaboration activities within the National landscape .”

AeRO CEO Sam Moskwa warmly welcomed its latest institutional member “QUT’s Office of eResearch is an excellent example of increasingly important links that continue to develop between research and commercialisation. Many of our planned initiatives for 2019 involve increased collaboration with our institutional partners, and we anticipate this will be an exciting partnership.
