Learn about innovative data solutions at the AeRO Forum 2024

As modern research becomes more data driven and dependent on advanced computing infrastructure, the eResearch sector faces the challenge of creating efficient and interoperable ways to move data. Even with high-speed networks, many researchers still use old or inefficient methods for transferring data, whether for analysis, sharing with collaborators, or long-term storage. To fix this critical issue and ensure sustainable data management, a community-wide effort is needed.

Join industry leaders at the AeRO Forum 2024 to identify the technological and practical changes needed for Australasian eResearch to meet this data-intensive challenge. Through engaging presentations and panel discussions, we will share real-life examples and case studies on how research groups and facilities handle data movement and storage. We will discuss the common problems researchers face with current infrastructure solutions and suggest shared solutions for easier and more compatible data movement across Australian and international research communities.

Don’t miss this chance to contribute to the future of research data management. We hope that you can join us on Friday 26 July at the Odeon Room, La Trobe University in Bundoora!
