Curtin Institute for Computation (CIC) joins AeRO

The Australasian eResearch Organisations (AeRO) is delighted to announce that the Curtin Institute for Computation (CIC) is joining as a Full Member.

The CIC was established to meet the increasing demand for computational modelling, data analytics, and visualisation by Curtin’s researchers. The CIC initiates and fosters collaborative, interdisciplinary research and education programs across the university.

AeRO membership is a logical addition to the CIC’s collaborative research approach. Professor Andrew Rohl, Director of CIC, explains that “The CIC is ideally positioned to provide future collaborative eResearch capability via our modelling, data science and visualisation capabilities, and are excited to formalise our relationship with AeRO as an important Australasian eResearch collaboration partner.”

AeRO CEO Sam Moskwa warmly welcomed its latest institutional member “The CIC is ideally positioned to meet the increasing demands for specialist eResearch services, and will play a key role in fostering collaboration across the Australasian eResearch sector. We anticipate a number of exciting impacts as a result of this exciting collaborative partnership“.
